Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the eventdj.ie website and any DJ booking enquiries or bookings made through it, operated by Simon Ó Maonaigh, trading as EventDJ (“we”, “us”, “our”), based at 54 James Connolly Square, Bray, County Wicklow, A98 C959, Ireland.

By using this website or submitting an enquiry or booking request, you agree to these Terms.

1. Enquiries and Bookings

Submitting a form on this site (including the Check Availability or Contact forms) is a request for a DJ booking, not a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have:

  1. Reviewed and approved your request, and
  2. Received your deposit payment within the timeframe stated to you.

We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our discretion, for any date, before a deposit has been taken.

2. Deposits and Payment

Where a deposit is required to secure a date, the amount and payment window will be communicated to you directly. If payment is not received within that window, the requested date may be released and offered to other enquiries.

The remaining balance (if applicable) is due as agreed directly with us ahead of the event.

3. Cancellations

Deposits paid to secure a booking are non-refundable. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including a change of plans on the customer’s part.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your event, please contact us as soon as possible at simon@eventdj.ie so we can discuss your options.

4. Our Liability

We provide DJ services with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (e.g. illness, extreme weather, venue issues, equipment failure beyond our control), though we will make every reasonable effort to notify you and find a solution.

5. Website Use

You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to disrupt it, submit false information, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
